Truth’s Transformation Blueprint

Truth’s Transformation Blueprint

Reform from the Conform to Lukewarm.

“You came to take us back to the start
You came to touch the hardness of our hearts
You gave us truth that truth is who You are
It’s who You are

And it’s not enough to just say, ‘I believe’
‘Cause truth is that talk is cheap
So grace give me eyes to see

‘Cause You came to break the chains apart
To wake the dead and the sleeping of our hearts
You gave us truth that truth is who You are”
~Tenth Avenue North

Overview:

We all want to live our lives to the fullest. As Christians, we tend to get caught up in the wrong messages from our society on what life is all about. They tell us we’re here to be happy, be wealthy, be popular, and our jobs tend to ultimately define who we are. This ministry’s main purpose is to guide you in how to live the life we are called to live: A life full of purpose, passion, conviction, and love. This can only be done when we establish what God’s truths are and then apply those truths into our daily lives. To Know the Truth, Live the Truth, and Be the Truth.

Here are the Main Objectives of this Ministry:

  • Discover and establish Biblical Truths into your worldview
  • Give you a complete in-depth look into the SHOUT IT Mission Statement from start to finish
  • Show how to apply these truths into your daily life
  • Empower you to lead a life of purpose, passion, conviction, and love

Why the Title: “Truth’s Transformation?”

If there’s every been more confusion and clamoring for the truth– it’s now. With the advances in technology, printing capabilities, and with the emphasis on education in our western society– there are countless theories, hypotheses, conspiracies, rumors, advertisements bombarding us every day telling us what the truth is and how to act upon it. The fundamental truths and principles of Christianity continue to get watered down with each passing year and the danger is that our belief system will eventually mirror that of the world’s. Without truth there is simply chaos. We come to accept whatever we want to believe and what’s pleasing to our ears. Is it any wonder that we are entering one of the darkest periods in human history? Now the widely accepted view is that truth doesn’t exist, it’s all relative. The basic thought that everyone is entailed to their own truths. Tolerance has become one of the many gods of this age. The devastating effects of this are endless–homicides, gang fights, abortion, pornography, the rapid downfall of moral values in the media, evolution, alcoholism, the acceptance of divorce, the ripping apart of the foundation of family, and on and on it goes. What’s more is that research has confirmed that Christians are no better than the rest of the world when it comes to the problems we are currently faced with. Why is this? I believe, we’ve somehow lost what the generations had before us: The foundation of truth and a firm understanding of the Christian worldview. The time is now to reclaim the truth and make it a part of our lives again….before it’s too late.

Christianity is a worldview. It’s much more than a petty religion, a bunch of regulations, or a set of rules. It should effect every single area and aspect of our lives. There are three main components to living out our faith that involve your head and your heart. Simply put–”Know the Truth. Live the Truth. Be the Truth.” Before you can put your faith into action you must establish your worldview. But at the same time if you establish your worldview but fail to apply it into your life, what good is it? By carrying out your worldview you will begin to transform into a living representation of those truths. The ultimate objective is then to “Be the truth.”  These three components must work together in order to carry out our faith effectively.

The Slogan:“Reform from the Conform to Lukewarm”

“Reform from the Conform to Lukewarm” is more than a catchy rhyme but at the heart of what this ministry is all about. We were not made to just survive through life and get by. There’s more to life than simply gaining wealth, popularity, or being happy. Christ came to give us life and life to the fullest (John 10:10) We all crave this life, but often times lead lives of quiet desperation in search of purpose, conviction, and lasting value. By understanding who God is, who we are in Him, His plan for us, and how to carry out His eternal truths we stop conforming to the world that is muddled with lukewarm living. We not to conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind (Romans 12:2) God’s blueprint for life is found in His Word, the Bible, and that’s the foundation of this ministry and SHOUT IT Ministries as a whole.

The Four Pillars of Truth

Four pillars are in place in order for truth to stand firm and be carried effectively in our lives. They are as follows:

Love: The core foundation of our faith is love. Nothing is more important and life changing than the power of love. Christianity is solely based on loving God, loving others, and loving ourselves. When it comes down to it, Christianity is a worldview about relationships. Take relationships out of Christianity and you have nothing left of substance. The concept of love is found throughout the SHOUT IT Mission Statement and right in the center with the principle of Unite.

Purpose: Our lives demand to have a purpose. We cling to find purpose in everything we do; even in the most mundane activities. We as Christians have a purpose that God has given each of us through our primary calling and personal calling. Without purpose we wander through life clinging to anything that grabs our attention. Purpose is critical in order to live a life of truth.

Passion: What happens when you’re passionate about something? You come alive. Time flies. You feel like you’re making an impact and difference. It’s easier to get up in the morning. When we live lives of passion, everything changes. God doesn’t just want us to just live our lives, He wants to give us life to the fullest. We must change our attitude towards the way we lead our lives and see with His eyes. God has given each of us passions to be carried out and impact lives, so we must discover these passions and implement them into our daily lives.

Conviction: Finally, we must know why we believe what we believe. If we don’t know why we do what we do; then everything we do is in vain. We must grasp the truth and form a solid worldview in order to live lives not only on conviction but of consistency. One of the major downfalls in the church today is not living out what we believe because we’re not sure what we believe is worth living out. This is the reason why we get so easily caught up in the world’s view of how our lives should be lived and our witness isn’t as effective as it could be. Instead of compromise we must turn to conviction and consistency in order to show lives of integrity. The question we all need to ask ourselves: Do you really believe that what you believe is really real?

What is to Be Covered in Truth’s Transformation?

Truth’s Transformation will cover the SHOUT IT Mission Statement: It’s seven main principles and all of the sub components that make up these seven principles in full detail. It’ll be written in chapter to chapter format like reading a book, only online and for no cost. The chapters will vary in length depending on the topic be discussed but expect shorter blog entries than what you’ll find in the Weekly Blogs ministry. The chapters will go in order from start to finish; from Fight for What’s Right to Tying Together the Truth. To Knowing the Truth to Becoming the Truth.

What Features Will Be Included?

As stated above, the entries will be written in a chapter format like a book. Included will be side quotes, pictures and videos(because we’re visual learners too), song lyrics, questions at the end of each chapter for personal assessment(Tracking Your Transformation), and examples will be given of what these principles being discussed look like in real life. It will be take several years to complete(estimated 7-8 years!); so endurance and patience are required. There will be a large emphasis on application of the principles as we move along. We’ll spend more time on some areas than others. You’ll have plenty of time to catch up if you fall behind. PDF files will be available in the near future of questions and key points to assist you in the process.

How Often Will Content Be Written?

Starting in January 2012, there will be on average of two new entries per month. We’ll cover a new chapter (sub-principle) over the course of every four months or one core principle (i.e. Stand Up in 2012) per year. In other words, this study will take an estimated 7-8 years to completely cover the SHOUT IT Mission Statement. This may be an intimating thought, but if you make it a priority to read these entries, reflect and research the concepts, answer the questions, and apply these truths into your everyday life–you’ll experience a complete transformation of who you were went you first began. Patience and endurance are certainly required for this ministry!

Do I Have Any Input in this Ministry?

Yes! Although the material I’m discussing is already set in place you there will be a place to provide comments, questions, and polls to participate in to see how people feel about certain topics and issues(late 2012). Also if you have any ideas of how to carry out the biblical truths discussed in these chapters you will have the chance to do so. More interactive features will be included as time moves along.

Final Thoughts

Why should you care about this ministry? Look at this ministry as a more in-depth look at the overall Christian worldview that you’ll discover throughout your time spent in the other ministries that can be found on www.shoutitforlife.com.  The singular vision of this ministry is help you form a solid Biblical worldview in your life so that you will begin to transform in the image of Christ. One final note I want to emphasize is what Truth’s Transformation is NOT:

  • It isn’t a fool-proof step-by-step plan that if you carry out will guarantee a life of happiness without problems, pain or suffering. Instead it is suggested guide into how the Christian life can be lived out effectively in which we discover truth and then live out that truth. Also all the principles discussed are equally important and need to be put together to live the Christian life. The topics aren’t put in step-to-step order in importance but instead follow a logically order that is easy to memorize and understand.
  • It does not cover every single topic in the Christian life. Although I feel like the core principles of Christianity are included in the SHOUT IT Mission Statement such as Love, Purpose, Integrity, Worship, Stewardship, Evangelism, Spiritual Disciplines, etc. I realize it’s impossible to cover everything that is involved living life for Christ. Life is far too complex for this to be the case! I do believe, though, these topics that will be covered are the most important and critical in the Christian life.
  • It does not replace the Bible. Yes, the SHOUT IT Mission Statement is based on a Biblical worldview, but that doesn’t mean it is the ultimate source of truth. We still need to put the Bible as the one and only true guide to follow at all times. Truth’s Transformation’s aim is for you to crave the Word of God more so that you’ll live out it’s truths into your everyday life—not to replace it!

The first principle of Stand Up will be discussed starting in December of 2011 with Fight for What’s Right and be covered thoroughly throughout 2012.  If you have questions, comments, or suggestions please feel free to contact me at kylej317@gmail.com.
